Syed Muhammad Haroon Agha is a senior judicial officer with over 25 years of experience in the legal and judicial sectors. He has served as an Additional District & Sessions Judge since 2014, including in the Islamabad District Judiciary, and is currently a faculty member at the Federal Judicial Academy. He began his legal career as an Advocate in 1997 and joined the judiciary in 1999 as a Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate. His career includes key administrative roles such as Deputy Secretary (Judicial) in the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan, and at the National Assembly of Pakistan.
Mr. Agha holds Master's degrees in Public Administration (HRM) and Economics from the University of Balochistan, and an LL.B from University Law College, Quetta. He has actively contributed to judicial reform and human rights initiatives through national and international conferences and training, including engagements in the UK and Kenya. He is recognized for his integrity, judicial acumen, and strong administrative and cross-cultural competencies.
